These terms apply to your use of Middl. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Middl.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Middl you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. We may update them from time to time; the date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

Description of service

Middl is an AI-powered workspace for freelancers. It lets you manage projects, communicate with an AI assistant to help structure and summarize work, and share projects with clients via a link. Clients do not create accounts; they access the specific project you share with them through a token-protected link. Middl is operated by a solo individual based in British Columbia, Canada.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You are also responsible for the projects you create and the clients you invite. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Middl for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws. Specifically, you must not:

• Use Middl to generate content that is fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading to clients.
• Attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent the AI features or any usage limits.
• Use Middl to harass, threaten, or harm any person.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract proprietary data from the service.

AI disclaimer

AI responses generated in Middl are produced by Anthropic's Claude model and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before sharing it with clients or acting on it. Middl and its operator are not liable for decisions you make based on AI output.

Payment and billing

Paid features are available through the Middl Pro plan. All billing is processed by Lemon Squeezy; Middl does not store your payment card details. If you cancel your subscription, access to Pro features continues until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us to discuss.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. In serious cases we may act without prior notice. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Limitation of liability

Middl is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Middl shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or loss of revenue.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
